CatPAC: Cats for Israel
CatPAC is a pro-Israel student organization that seeks to promote love and appreciation for Israel through campus activities. CatPAC student leaders provide Arizona students with educated and factual information regarding Middle Eastern affairs, enabling the students to expand their knowledge and opinions, and to become politically and socially active in Middle Eastern public affairs. Yael Schusterman
Yael lives in Fort Lee, NJ, which is right outside NYC and is currently a journalism major. After her meaningful birthright experience, she developed such a strong passion for Israel and wanted nothing more then to support and promote Israel/Israel Travel. She plans to organize several events throughout the year in order to engage students and different cultural groups to gain an appreciation and understanding of how important it is to go to israel and be exposed to the culture.
Chelsey Sapperstein
Chelsey lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and is a sophomore at the U of A. She is
double majoring in Sociology and Political Science and minoring in Judaic
Studies. After traveling to Israel in the summer of 2006, she came back with
such a strong love and passion and could not wait to share her experience with
others. She is returning to Israel this summer to volunteer in the city of
Kiryat Malachi. This year, she plans to meet with several multicultural groups
on campus, planning programs and presentations which will teach them about
Israel. She hopes to end the year with a large Israel festival on campus
teaching the importance of politics, culture and Israel travel.
